Team of the Week

Here's something a bit different this Tuesday. I was able to watch a fair few games across the weekend, so this my 'Team of the Week' for Round Two with thirteen players who I think stood out from the rest.
Sunday saw the return of the little general, Stacey Jones (pictured), to the NRL who I simply had to include at halfback.
Feel free to agree or disagree! And please comment if you wish.
Fullback: Kurt Gidley (Knights) 18 runs for 151m, 8 tackle breaks, 4 goals
Showed experience beyond his years to help guide an injury riddled Newcastle to a two-try win over the Sharks.
Wing: Joel Reddy (Eels) 11 runs for 99m, 1 line break, 1 try
Was solid under the high ball and finished off the match nicely by clinching the winning try in the corner.
Centre: Jamie Lyon (Sea Eagles) 9 runs for 83m, 21 tackles, 2 try assists, 2 tries
Proved especially dangerous for Manly on Sunday afternoon and left no doubt in my mind that his best position is in the number three or four jersey.
Centre: Krisnan Inu (Eels) 13 runs for 145m, 9 tackles, 3 offload, 8 tackle breaks
Has had a quiet 12 months but showed doubters he’s still got the flair that saw him burst onto the scene in 2007.
Wing: Shaun Kenny-Dowall (Roosters) 11 runs for 85m, 1 try assist, 1 try, 1 goal
The lanky flanker proved a handful for Canberra out wide.
Five-eighth: Scott Dureau (Knights) 13 tackles, 1 try assist, 10 kicks for 323m, 1 40/20, 1 try
Stepped up to the plate in the absence of regular halfback Jarrod Mullen and should have cemented his spot in the Newcastle line-up with Mullen set to spend some time on the sideline.
Halfback: Stacey Jones (Warriors) 17 tackles, 2 try assists, 4 kicks for 81m
Orchestrated two tries in the final ten minutes, one from a trademark chip and chase, giving the Warriors a remarkable come from behind victory.
Prop: Sam Thaiday (Broncos) 17 runs for 121m, 38 tackles
The Origin representative’s endurance is much improved in 2009 and has been the Broncos best forward in the first two weeks of the competition.
Hooker: Isaac de Gois (Knights) 7 runs for 59m, 40 tackles
Toughed it out for the full eighty minutes on Monday night.
Prop: Steve Price (Warriors) 19 runs for 145m, 23 tackles, 2 try assists
The veteran prop mixed hard running with sublime ball playing skills. Who said age was a barrier?
Second row: Trent Waterhouse (Panthers) 12 runs for 81m, 30 tackles, 2 line breaks, 2 tries
Played some of his best footy since his last appearance for Australia in 2005. Also ran strongly for two four-pointers.
Second row: Nathan Hindmarsh (Eels) 13 runs for 100m, 53 tackles
Is an absolute machine.
Lock: David Stagg (Bulldogs) 12 runs for 100m, 53 tackles, 1 try assist, 3 offloads, 1 try
The former Broncos lock is a great signing for the club. Impenetrable in defence and is starting to develop his attacking game.
