NRL Live's thoughts..
A fairly predictable squad as expected. Interesting to see Matt Ballin considered as the second best hooker in the state behind Smith. What more does Nathan Friend have to do to be considered? Personally, Friend is better than Ballin.
Steve Michaels is also lucky to be there - his form this season has been fairly ordinary. On the other hand, Broncos' teammate Nick Kenny is playing the best footy of his career and he would have to be in contention for a bench spot come Origin time.
