New Zealand Centenary Test Team

With the Centenary Test just a few weeks away, here's the Kiwi side I'd like to see take on the Australian on May 9 at the SCG. I must say it was a much harder task than selecting the Aussie team. No players from the English Super League were considered for selection.
01. Lance Hohaia (Warriors)
02. Manu Vatuvei (Warriors)
03. Steve Matai (Sea Eagles)
04. Sam Perrett (Roosters)
05. Shaun Kenny-Dowall (Roosters)
06. Benji Marshall (Tigers)
07. Ben Roberts (Bulldogs)
08. Sam Rapira (Warriors)
09. Isaac Luke (Rabbitohs)
10. Roy Asotasi (Rabbitohs)
11. Sonny Bill Williams (Bulldogs)
12. Simon Mannering (Warriors)
13. Jeremy Smith (Storm)
14. Dene Halatau (Tigers)
15. Greg Eastwood (Broncos)
16. Epalahame Lauaki (Warriors)
17. David Fa'alogo (Rabbitohs)
Issac Luke needs to make his test debut for his country. He'll provide spark out of dummy half and, although he's only a rookie, he holds the key to victory for the Kiwis. Luke will need to get the forwards rolling over the advantage line to put the oppsition on the back foot.
But to put it simply, these players will need to play out of their skins to come anywhere near Australia. However, if they can get Sonny Bill Williams and Benji Marshall on the park at the same time, anything is possible.
Notable ommissions include Jerome Ropati (Warriors) and Krisnan Inu (Eels) who both missed out due to injury.
Please feel free to comment with your own thoughts.
